The Fire Nation has attacked the other three kingdoms, and has brought years of war and famine to peaceful nations. The only person who can save the earth is Aang, a twelve year-old boy, who has been trapped inside an iceberg for one hundred years. His two sidekicks, Katara and Soko from the Water Tribe, must assist him on his grand journey to master all four elements and defeat a Hitleresque Fire Lord seeking world domination.

  1. I think the critique of the casting of all white characters for the heroes (when they are clearly people of color in the animated series), and then casting people of color as the villians, is legitimate and reason enough to not support this movie or give it money. Its both the fault of Shyamalan and Paramount Pictures to continue the history of racist casting in hollywood movies. Just my opinion.
