Catching Up with Sam Kirk: LGBTQ+ Art Banner Donation Program

From Chicago-based artist Sam Kirk:

“As I prepare for our final few months of 2019, I’m excited to share that I will be donating all of the artwork used in the NYC World Pride Times Square Installation to LGBTQ+ non-profits across the US. This installation included 350ft of artwork and we will be donating 16 art banners based on public nominations.

It took us some time to get the installation back to Chicago to trim, clean and prepare them for this program, but now they’re ready for new homes!! Please take a look at the Indiegogo Program I launched to learn more about making nominations, supporting shipping costs to non-profits, and how you can get small art prints of the artwork.

I’m also excited to announce that I’ve joined the board for IPaintMyMind! This amazing organization helps to bring art to  schools throughout Chicago. They understand artists need opportunities to earn and businesses are looking for unique ways to give back to their communities. I’m grateful and excited for the opportunity to work alongside the other board members. Please learn more about IPMM here.”
