Brazilian Steakhouse Fogo de Chao, in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, celebrated its 10th anniversary recently with a $750,000 renovation and added private dining rooms.

The 30 item salad bar is not to be missed along with the signature cocktail caipirinha made with cachaca rum. Gaucho chefs bring around over 15 cuts of meats for diners table side, including lamb t-bone and two filet mignon cuts. With a flick of the card — red meaning stop and green meaning bring on the beef — guests can get their fill of side items ranging from garlic mashed potatoes to hot polenta along with the main meat selections.

Fogo even has their own Malbec to add to the experience and have won many awards for their over 200 wine selections.

Finish things off if you still have room in your belly with crème brûlée or South American flan.

Bom divertimento!
