Formed in 2009, alt/ambient rockers Miss Garrison has been making rounds at festivals in South American and Europe and recording two albums and an EP outside of their home base in Chile. They are in the process of mixing a new album Al Sol De Noche, which will be released within the next few months. Their sound, which has elements of modern post rock and electro-pop and an ambient texture, will place them comfortably in the international Spanish language alt-rock universe.
Coming up for Miss Garrison is a tour in Mexico and then two performances for SXSW in mid-March. Perhaps we’ll see more of them in the U.S. very soon. Ruido Fest, maybe?
