More about Muévelo

Perreo is here to stay and ConectArte’s party  Muévelo is bringing together 5 Latin American DJs to make you dance with tracks from neo-perreo, dembow, old school reggaeton, cumbia, dancehall and other Latin rhythms. Prepare to experience the world of perreo with Lester Rey from PUM PUM collective as a host and art installations from visual artist Alex Palma.

Reggaeton and perreo have been seen in a negative light by some throughout history and ConectArte seeks to magnify the importance and the multifaceted aspects of the underground sub-genre, its culture and artists by bringing these collectives together.

The party begins at 9PM. Single tickets available at the door for $15 and can also be purchased online at http://www.subt.net/calendar or in person at Subterranean at 2011 W. North Ave.
