But experiencing it live at Austin’s Pachanga Fest–Alex Marrero strutting and jiving in a brown poncho and huaraches, or red guayabera with matching pants (yes, bright red matching pants), fronting Brownout’s super talented and versatile border psych rock jazzers, all the while doing super-funky horn-heavy and percussion-driven covers of early Black Sabbath tunes at Pachanga Festival–well, we’re true believers now.
