Following two sold-out debuts of the Diosa De La Noche Tour on the West Coast, Mexican pop icon Gloria Trevi made her way through Chicago with an explosive performance at Allstate Arena. The tour will take place in a total of 24 cities across the US and includes support by Colombian artist Karol G.
Highlights of Trevi’s elaborate show include all the colorful visuals and creative choreography. Plus, a duet with Karol G of their now Gold Record status hit, “Hijoepu*#.” Of course she also performed fan favorites, along with new material, but we were especially moved the moment she mentioned that this particular concert, on this date in Chicago, marked the 15th anniversary of her release from incarceration.
Overjoyed, the larger-than-life pink quinceañera dress she floated out in, memorably marked the celebration.
Gloria Trevi deserves these joyous occasions. Not only does she continue to create chart-topping music, like the 2019 release of Diosa De La Noche, she also continues to sell out stadium concerts. It’s been, oh… you know, only 30 years now. If there’s a celebration to be had, Trevi knows how to do it in spectacular style.
