Zoé released a new video for their single “SKR” off their upcoming album Sonidos de Karmática Resonancia. The video incorporates surrealistic 3D animation drawn square by square.
“SKR” is an alluring, almost hypnotic, galactic trip across a multitude of seemingly phantom terrains, with fuzzy faded hues accentuating the visual buoyancy. It’s an ideal atmosphere to experience Zoe’s exquisite use of vintage instrumentation that naturally synthesize with new sounds. Their words take on poetic form reminiscing about love, hope… and a little darkness to keep things balanced. The song’s extended outro is epic as they sing – “Tranquilidad, vulnerabilidad / Todo lo que fui se queda aquí /Destellos de luz, tristeza infernal / Canciones de amor, de compasión” | “Tranquility, vulnerability / All that I was stays here / Flashes of light, infernal sadness / Songs of love, of compassion” – going from darkness to blinding light as a lone figure appears.
“SKR” is the first single from Zoe’s upcoming album ‘Sonidos de Karmática Resonancia‘ and just a tiny glimpse of what they’ve been creating.
