If the idea of a white wedding makes you cringe, what better place to say “I do” than amongst throngs of metalheads and rock’s Prince of Darkness. This year, heavy metal tour OZZfest is offering the Unholy Matrimony Package to those wanting to tie the knot to the tunes of Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe. For a mere $2,666 (hey, it is the “unholy” package afterall) the lovely couple can be married by MC Big Dave while eight of their closest friends bear witness.
After the couple is officially husband and wife (well, make that unofficially, since a marriage certificate is not included in the package) they can celebrate with a champagne toast and by cutting the OZZfest cake. The couple and their guests also get a backstage tour, VIP access, and pit passes so they can catch the action up close. On top of the backstage perks, the newlyweds can also receive a gift from the bridal registry. What exactly could be on a bridal registry created for a heavy metal tour, you ask? Why autographed guitars and Monster Energy Drink refrigerators full of cans of Monster, of course! Just what every bride and groom needs.
If this sounds like the perfect setting for you and your honey to tie the knot, you’re in luck. OZZfest rolls into First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park on August 16th, so save the date.
