Over thinking dessert can be as bad as over thinking that rash (seriously go see a doctor!). There is all the measuring, mixing of ingredients, getting all your mixing bowls dirty, then baking for an hour. Not to mention the first timers who have never dealt with a kitchen or even an oven. What about the mom or dad home all day with the kids? Who gets 5 minutes to themselves let alone an hour to bake something? Some of us work long hours and do not feel like coming home and making dessert, although you would probably like to eat one. Despite all of these great excuses, wouldn’t it be nice if you could use a spare 15 minutes to make something that looks and tastes like you have spend hours preparing it?
I have put together some simple recipes, and now you can try them too! They definitely won’t overwhelm you, and when you are finished they will look like a lot of hard work. This way, you’ll fool everyone, and if you don’t, pour flour all over your apron, and smear some chocolate on your face. Rub eyes for that exhausted effect.

Nice! So true, sometimes we make the task of making dessert more daunting than it is, like after a long day at work. Then it's done and you think, just what the hell did I think was going to take so long? And you have a nice cake waiting.
