Founders Arabel Alva Rosales of Mexican descent and Cesar Colon Jr. of Puerto Rican descent began LFW seven years ago and it has grown into nation wide tour ever since. With past shows in Dallas, Miami, and Chicago, Latino Fashion Week has been captivating the attention of Latino-American fashion designers and supporters on a national scale.
Latino Fashion Week has also seen works by designers from different parts of Latin America such as Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. It is truly an amazing way for Latino creatives to gather, build relationships and gain inspiration from one another.
Latino musical artists will also be present to spice up the event and get the positive energy flowing. Taking place in Chicago, the local series will also include various restaurants, boutiques, and media outlets from around the city supporting the Latino Fashion Week cause.
