Los Dells Festival: Recap and Photos 2019

This past Labor Day weekend 2019 marked another edition of Los Dells in Wisconsin. For those not aware, there really is no other festival like it. العاب النت الحقيقيه The event is a cornucopia of Latin music genres covering everything from alternative, reggae and rock to regional, banda, urban and tropical. Los Dells is the equivalent of going to a festival featuring Garth Brooks, Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pitbull, all on the same ticket. لعبة بوكر A strange and novel idea that works!

This year Ozuna and Logic headlined the bill. As a Latin Alternative music fan, however, I was there for Café Tacvba, Mon Laferte, Siddhartha, Natalia Lafourcade, Ximena Sariñana, and Gondwana, with Niña Dioz and Clubz in the Toyota Music Den! Indie bands that really impressed us live and turned us into instant fans were Puerto Rico’s Los Walters, with an electronic alternative vibe, and California’s Inner Wave and Katzu Oso with a loungey, new wavy feel. Unfortunately some hiccups at ‘will call’ did mean we missed sets by Gondwana and Ximena, as the line to get our bracelets was 1.5 hours long and, although that was a disappointment, Los Dells 2019 can be considered a success with many improvements over last year, improvements to sound and lighting on the second stage, a new smaller stage, a new carnival ride, and an eating tent large enough for hundreds of people. Campers that arrived Friday were also treated to an intimate set by Natalia Lafourcade and Mon Laferte the night before opening.

As a music photographer there was actually no intention of shooting at the festival this year. I was “on break” and there as a music fan. But I couldn’t resist and I brought along a portable camera and put it to the test. These are some highlights from the Latin Alternative artists over that weekend shot on a small, hand-held Sony DSC-RX100 and from the crowd. Unfortunately, Katzu Oso was left playing in dark due to technical difficulties and I couldn’t capture some shots of them but, I highly recommend you check them out! الروليت اون لاين
