Melissa Nunez-Mangold is a Mexican-American writer, music enthuiast, sports fanatic and newly-wed born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She holds a degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois, which she uses as an excuse to laugh at cheesy commericals. When not cheering on her precious Illini or Bears, she enjoys discovering new music and going to concerts. Her music preferences include hip hop, indie rock and reggae, but she enjoys most anything with a good beat. She currently lives and works in the suburbs and is learning how to establish a career, be a wife, follow her dreams and create a home at the same time.
