Author: Marissa Garcia
Marissa has a fiery and poorly-contained passion for children’s literature, so she decided to make it her whole entire life. She works as a children’s librarian in a public library just outside Chicago, where she specializes in multicultural books and youth programming, with an emphasis on Spanish collections. She did her undergraduate work in Fiction Writing at Columbia College Chicago and received her MLIS from Dominican University.
Marissa is also mad about: burlesque, world cuisine/music, pig figurines and dressing in Crayola colors.
