I fell in love with Chicago when a road trip took me up to the mouth of Lake Michigan this summer. Until then, I'd never known life outside of Texas. The artistic energy here in the city compared to Houston is intriguing, and its the culture shock that ultimately brought me back to live. In the Fall I'll begin studing journalism or web design at Columbia College. When I have the free time, I'm usually trying to find and open mic poetry night or sharpening my ukulele skills.
