Album Review: Beans’ End It All

With the threat of permanently terminating his career, Beans returns with his forth album aptly titled, End It All, releases on Anticon Records. DJ Nobody-produced, single “Deathsweater” offers a stylish and alluringly mouth watering verbiage. “Mellow You Out,” features TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe with haunting ingenuity. Both tracks produced by Flagranti, present fluid beat-scapes. Old school hip-hop and slam poetry collide on “Air Is Free,” where freestyle, politics and humor superabound. Last but not least, Clark-produced beat “Hunter” drives End It All home. The spate current of Bean’s rhymes harp back the good old days of hip-hop, when party politics were really party politics and the MC’s metered message and views were just as crucial to the production as the throbbing beat.

Enjoy Beans new, Jon Leone-directed, vaginal pink crystal video, “Blue Movie” and listen to ““Mellow You Out [ft. Tunde Adebimpe]”.
