Proyecto Latina

For Proyecto Latina the third Monday of every month is an evening of celebrating the creativity of a select Latina artist, the chisme box and providing a platform for everyone through our open mic. In our fourth year, we bring you the next wave of Latinas in the arts.

April showers brings poeta power! It’s National Poetry Month and this month we will be featuring Dr. Yolanda Nieves. She will be reading from her book The Spoken Body and as always we’ll do a little Q&A with Yolanda about her book. Let’s celebrate National Poetry month together so remember to tell your comadres to swing by.
