Writing Panel “How to Raise Money to Self-Publish Your Book”

April 21, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Most writers don’t have a stock pile of money or a bag of diamonds to fund their creative projects. This writing panel will show you how to still accomplish your goal of self-publishing your own book. Panelists will discuss their experiences using crowdsource funding for their literary projects. Find out the do’s and don’ts of raising money for creative projects. A Q&A will follow after the panel discussion. You’ll also have the opportunity to mingle with other Latino writers.

Panelists Include:
• Diana Pando, Writer and Project Editor for Rebeldes: A Proyecto Latina Anthology
• Juan Carlos Hernández, Novelist / Journalist/ Author of Lost and Found On the Camino de Santiago
• Daniel Parra, Siete Vientos Publishing
Moderator: Sandra Treviño of Enchufate and Radio One Chicago, 88.7FM WLUW
