30 BBQ TEAMS GOING SMOKER TO SMOKER IN THE WINDY CITY…can only mean lots of smoke, lots of stories and lots of real BBQ!
This September 1st, watch as 30 Pit Masters and their teams compete on an equal playing field for the title of Grand Champion during a one-day competition. Teams can only use all-wood (no gas or electricity) to cook their meats. They can bring any combination of smokers, any combination of spices, garnishes, tools and experience to result in the best BBQ they have. Teams competing in the WCBC can now turn in meat from four categories: Pork, Ribs, Chicken and Brisket. There will be 30 judges from far and wide coming to critique the meat. This year guarantees a bigger payout in award money and bragging rights too!
