The Guild Literary Complex & Voice Of The City Present: Unnatural Spaces A “Poetry Performance Incubator” Theatrical Work. Developed and Directed by: Coya Paz – Assistant Director: Jessica Kadish
One woman lies awake wondering if her father-in-law would ever trade carne asada for tofu, while another woman wonders if the tiny plastic crack bags she finds on her front lawn are recyclable. A jaded engineer plots his way off “the grid” while his immigrantfather chides him for abandoning the American dream. And through it all, Pink Slime struggles to find a backbone. From bullets and parking meters to trash and trash-talking, Unnatural Spaces takes up the complexity of environmental choices in the context of urban life, offering a generous, fast-paced and often funny look at the choices we all make to simply get through the day (much less the millenium!).
