Join Students for Justice in Palestine at UIC as we celebrate traditional Palestinian culture! Although Palestinians have faced oppression for decades, the Palestinian culture continues to thrive and we want to celebrate that here in Chicago. We will have a DJ playing Arabic music, food, speakers, dabke, henna and more! Join us on the night we celebrate being Palestinian!
****PLEASE TRY TO DRESS CULTURAL NO MATTER WHAT CULTURAL BACKGROUND YOU MAY HAVE. It’s important for us all to connect to our cultural backgrounds, so please feel free to represent yours at our culture night.
This will be day 2 of the week long Israeli Apartheid Week at UIC.
