U.S.-Mexico Borderlands and the Immigration Debate

September 20, 2010 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Many residents of the U.S.-Mexico borderlands have lives on both sides, crossing daily for work, school, and family commitments. These ties, along with extensive economic activity and shared culture and history—stretching as far as Chicago—bridge the two nations.

Award-winning journalist and author Tyche Hendricks will shed light on the dynamics at play today in this binational region and their implications for immigration policy and the future of U.S.-Mexico relations.
