Edmundo Paz Soldán & Antonio Olivo
The Drama of Immigration from the Latin American Perspective

The issue of immigration ranks at the top of government agendas around the world, but it also transcends geography and politics, permeating other aspects of daily human life. What is the Latin American cultural perspective on this phenomenon? Renowned Bolivian author and Cornell University professor Edmundo Paz Soldán and award-winning Chicago Tribune reporter Antonio Olivo discuss the social and cultural repercussions of immigration, as seen from their respective fields. Ramiro Atristaín of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs will introduce the debate.

The lecture will be presented in English
