A premiere screening of the first hour of the new MASTERPIECE Classic dramatization of The Diary of Anne Frank. This film, called “the most accurate-ever adaptation of one of the world’s most widely read memoirs,” tells an enduring story of hope and tragedy—what the Chicago Tribune once described as “a testament to an indestructible nobility of spirit in the face of pure evil.’
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Rebecca Eaton, Executive Producer of MASTERPIECE and Dr. Phyllis Lassner, professor of Jewish Studies at Northwestern University.
