The Human Rights Watch International Film Festival has embodied the power of film to make a difference and The Facets Cinémathèque, in collaboration with The Human Rights Watch Chicago Committee, is very proud to present The 9th Annual Human Rights Watch Film Festival, which showcases the heroic stories of activists and survivors from all over the world. The works featured help to put a human face on threats to individual freedom and dignity, and celebrate the power of the human spirit and intellect to prevail.
