Soda Stereo Tribute

June 2, 2011 @ 9:00 pm - 2:00 am

More than a show, the Chicago’s Latino music and art community proudly present this tribute in remembrance of Gustavo Cerati, who has been in a coma for over a year. He had a stroke while on tour showcasing his very successful 9th solo album Fuerza Natural (Natural Force). Since the release of Gustavo Cerati’s album half a million fans have positively commented and given praise on the Artist’s Facebook website. It is with this same spirit that Rockotitlan Chicago pays homage to one of the most influential and talented contemporary musicians, Gustavo Adrian Cerati Clark.

Live Tribute Soda Stereo band; Ruido Blanko, continuously experiments with the sounds that have put the band (Soda Stereo) at the forefront of popular latin rock music and influenced, among other Latin American rock giants, bands such as Libido of Peru, and Santa Sabina of Mexico. RUIDO BLANKO will draw upon Soda Stereo’s past to present a reflection of the bands musical history. This dedication to recognizing Soda Stereo is also shared by Purple Tongue and one of the leading Latin rock experts of Chicago DJ Jesus Echeverria.
