Prison Resistance in Illinois: A Teach-In

SAVE THE DATE Sunday, May 15th, 11:00am – 1:30pm at Chicago Freedom School, 719 S State St, 3N off the Harrison Red line for a teach-in on Prison Resistance in Illinois

Please join us for a teach-in to explore the history of prison resitance in Illinois. The discussion will begin with looking at how incarcerated folks engage in defiance of their conditions. We will take a look at a timeline of documented prison resistance in Illinois and what that means for those that fight back every day. Most importantly, we will hear from Moni Cosby and Ms. Afrika about their experience with resistance in prisons.
