PechaKucha Night brings prominent and emerging creative minds together for an evening of lightning-fast presentations, networking and fun. The PechaKucha format, where a dozen or so presenters are given 20 slides each shown for 20 seconds to reveal their passions, work and inspirations, is now held in over 410
cities around the world. Chicago events are among the most popular, with over 300 people in attendance at each event.
Chicago’s Volume 18 features 6 minutes and 40 seconds each of Full Circle founder and community builder Patty Huber, yogurt pedaler Annie Lambla, treehouse builder Daniel Freedberg, School of the Art Institute student
Mike Genge, Orange Skin entrepeneur Obi Nwazota, the hunger fighting Mobile Food Collaborative from Archeworks, young architect Charlie O’Geen, League of Chicago Theater’s head honcho Deb Clapp, artist Matt Blake, the cone obsessed Michael Svona and Zack Ostrowski, AKA Beverly Fresh. The official poster of
Volume 18 is designed by Medium Rare.
Architect Peter Exley and a TBA PK alumnus will emcee the evening.
