The Latino Music Festival (LMF) produces performances and promotes awareness of music from Latin America and Spain spanning from the Baroque to the 21st century. The Latino Music Festival functions as a bridge, bringing Latin American classical music to Chicago’s general audience and at the same time curates an educational role bringing these genres of music to Chicago’s neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs through concerts and educational programs.

Pedro Navarro in Concert
Institute Cervantes celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Day with Flamenco Guitarist Pedro Navarro, an exceptional young flamenco guitarist from Spain. Pedro Navarro has captured the world with his music. He began playing guitar at the age of six. Nowadays, he exhibits a talent that has inspired music critics to give him the nickname “Dedos con Duende” (“Magical Fingers”). He is going to be accompanied by guitarist Alejandro García Ruiz.
