Latinx Artist Salon

June 3, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Like Joaquin, we are caught up in the whirl of a gringo society, confused by the rule, scorned by the attitudes, suppressed by the manipulation, and destroyed by modern society. And yet we rise. Join us for an evening of interdisciplinary art and conversation with Chicago-based LGBTQ artists.

Andre Perez, Sofia Moreno, Ricardo Gamboa, and Jacquelyn Carmen Guerrero will be presenting work and having a round table conversation. There will be snacks. This venue is wheelchair accesible and has an ADA compliant restroom, for other accessibility concerns, contact andrealanperez [@] gmail.com.

This FREE event is co-hosted by the Trans Oral History Project and is part of the 7th annual United Latinx Pride Week 2016! Free events Across Chicago for everyone to celebrate Queer Latinx Community! For more info go to http://www.unitedlatinopride.org
