Throw it back to 1982 with LUCHA!
LUCHA is hosting a one of a kind #ThrowbackThursday party in celebration of 34 years of service in the Humboldt Park, Logan Square, West Town, and Hermosa communities. The proceeds of each $25* ticket sold will benefit LUCHA’s programs, including the LUCHA Law Project, foreclosure intervention, affordable housing development, and other life-changing services.
LUCHA’s #TBT event will include music by the not to be missed Boogie Munsters, an 80s and 90s dance party (feel free to bust out that Cabbage Patch), arcade games, vintage post cards, a local pizza competition (YEAH, we went there), and more! Admission includes two drinks of your choice, arcade tokens, unlimited pizza worthy of a Ninja Turtle (stay tuned as we announce the participants), & free parking thanks to our friends at Liberty Bank for Savings (you KNOW you know that statue)!
We’ll also be displaying vintage LUCHA and Humboldt Park photos from our archives. Come take it back with us!
*Please purchase a ticket through the EventBrite link above or at the door.
