Join us Wednesday, January 20th at The Kedzie Center Community Mental Health from 6 to 8pm to discuss the important issue of human trafficking in our communities.
Community members and social service providers are the crucial link to bridge trafficking survivors to the help they need. Victims of human trafficking may not seek help immediately or on their own because they may not self-identify as a trafficking victim.
In this workshop, learn how to identify trafficking and what you can do to help from guest speaker Micaela Garrido, J.D., M.A. of the Human Trafficking Initiative: The Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services.
**Social service providers will receive 2 credits (CEU/ ICDVP/ LMFT) for attending.**
This event is free and open to the public. Invite a friend!
