Free Press vs Fake News

Fake news is everywhere. So how should the general public distinguish reputable news sources from fake new sources? Also, why is a healthy free press important to the dissemination of legitimate news?

On Monday, March 20, the CFL will join with NABET Local 41 and the Loyola University Chicago School of Communication to present Free Press vs Fake News: a panel discussion about attacks on the free press and the propagation of fake news. Our distinguished panelists will tackle your questions about the media, why a free press is important in today’s age of fake news, and more.
