All experience levels are welcome to a poetry discussion and creative writing workshop co-led by Poetry Foundation staff member Maggie Queeney & RVA Art Therapist Jordan Ferranto. In March, we will read and discuss poems that explore the connections, intersections, and tensions between sexual violence, trauma, and identity.
Participants will compose original poems in the form of a manifesto, a public declaration that celebrates the new and casts off the old, that defines identity in relation to (or refusal of) the experience of sexual violence.
Space is Limited
Refreshments will be served
