Feature Photo By hawa11man70

Learn more about the Bloomingdale Line’s fascinating history and important place in the development of Chicago! Terry Banich, author of our popular and extensive feature on the Bloomingdale Line, will present a lecture and discussion entitled “The Bloomingdale Line, a study of a former link to interstate commerce,” about the history of the Bloomingdale. This lecture is being offered at the Logan Square Comfort Station as part of The Bloomingdale, a photo exhibition (opening July 20) of David Schalliol’s three year documentation of The Bloomingdale Line, which is being converted into the multi-use Bloomingdale Trail and linear park.

The exhibition and lecture is co-sponsored by the Comfort Station, Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail, Forgotten Chicago and the Trust for Public Land.
