Film in the Park 2013 will run Wednesdays from June 19th until August 14th. Some of the Chicago Latino Film Festival hits will be screened at different parks in the city. Rain or shine, these free admission screenings will start at dusk (approximately 8 pm)

Eleven-year-old Diego is forced to spend three months with his grandfather Francisco, who lives in a small farm in the Venezuelan Andes. With no access to internet, no electricity, no video games and no phone, Diego will learn about the joys of reading, community and young love underneath the shade of a strange, blue apple tree, lessons that will have a huge impact on Diego’s adult life.
