Sones de México Ensemble will celebrate Fiestas Patrias in the city of Aurora, IL with two big concerts September 10 & 11.
On Saturday, September 10 we will be joined by many special guests, including the Mexican Dance Ensemble, Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcóatl, dancer and Radio/TV personality David Miranda, a horn section led by Puerto Rican saxophonist Roy McGrath with Justin Copeland (trumpet), and Evan Jacobson (trombone), guest violinist Fernando López, founding Ensemble member Raul Fernandez, star percussionist Rubén Alvarez, rap artist Carlos Bueno, and more, for a spectacular all-star performance.
The doors open at 4pm. Admission is only $5 (after 6pm it is $10). Stay after Sones de Mexico’s concert for the evening’s closing act: Horóscopos de Durango.
