Fulcrum Point New Music Project celebrates 14 years of new art music and creative collaborations with Fiesta Latina, an evening of music and dance to benefit Fulcrum Point’s intercultural education programs, “Sound Tracks” and “Sound Tracks Plus,” which reach over 800 students in Chicago Public Schools. The Fiesta Latina 14th Annual Benefit Concert – celebrating Latin music from Mexico, Spain and the Andes.
Fiesta Latina features special guests Sones de México Ensemble, flamenco artist Chiara Mangiameli (recently seen alongside Rick Bayless in the Lookingglass Theater’s Cascabel), the talented young musicians and dancers of The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) and “Sound Tracks Plus” students from Waters Elementary School.
Tickets for the Fiesta Latina concert and post-concert reception are $25, $15 per person for groups of 10 or more and $10 for students. Supporter’s Level VIP tickets, which include a festive pre-concert cocktail reception, are $150.
