For those who have been longing to visit the alluring, forbidden Caribbean island just 90 miles from Florida’s shore, Festival Cubano is the next best thing. Festival Cubano is now in its fourth year–establishing itself as a summer tradition in Chicago and the largest festival of its kind in the U.S. Thousands of attendees from all over the country come together to celebrate Cuban culture in one fun filled weekend. Festival Cubano takes place from 10am to 10pm on August 2, 3 & 4th on the beautiful grounds of Riis Park, on Fullerton Avenue & Narragansett.
Festival-goers will enjoy local & international musical talent, food from Cuba & Latin America, arts & craft booths, carnival games and a Domino Tournament. The kiddies will also have plenty to keep them entertained with a Kids Zone that features a petting zoo, magicians, clowns and an interactive bilingual storyteller.
