The Eternals have been combining jazz and funk into a unique mix for years, but add a live jazz band in Millennium Park to create a multi-genre performance of funk, hip-hop and punk rock. Emerging brother-sister duo Elliot and Natalie Bergman of Wild Belle start off the night with music from their debut album.
For this special performance, the Eternals will be expanding to a 10 piece band. The music will be the debut of the Espiritu Zombi Suite written especially for this group to perform. Although the spirit of the past Eternals sound will be present this new larger group will allow the music to have a completely new vibe as explosive and delicate moments reside next to each other. The music will be as all Eternals music is…indescribable and grooving. The core Eternals members Damon Locks and Wayne Montana with their comrade and trio drummer Areif Sless-Kitain will be joined by Jason Adasiewicz-Vibes, Matt Lux-Bass, Josh Berman-Coronet, Manny Bances-Flute & percussion, Nick Mazzarella- Saxophone, and Jeanine O’toole and Tomeka Reed on background vocals.
