Vocalist and guitarist for two bands, The Swell Season and The Frames, Irish native Glen Hansard has become recognized as one of the best songwriters of his generation. In 2008, he became an Academy Award winner for Best Original Song “Falling Slowly” from Once, the critically acclaimed indie film loosely based on his own life. Recently completing a 20th Anniversary tour with his band, The Frames, Glen Hansard is currently embarking on solo endeavors throughout the summer, as well as performing alongside his two bands at festivals and one-offs throughout the year.
