Chicago-based songwriter and musician David Singer’s new album, Arrows, made the “Top Ten Albums of the Year” lists by both Jim DeRogatis (Vocalo/WBEZ) and Greg Kot (Chicago Tribune), among other supporters. Kot writes, “A master of slow-motion psychedelia, the better to appreciate his wryly bittersweet lyrics, the former Kid Million vocalist and multi-instrumentalist remains one of the city’s most evolved pop craftsmen of the last decade.”
Singer also recently scored Steppenwolf Theatre’s August: Osage County, winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Play. David and his band have shared the stage with such luminaries as Spoon, Robyn Hitchcock, Neko Case, Beulah, and The Lemonheads to name a few. His talented accompanists are billed as The Sweet Science.
