Curiosity Landing Party

Come help the Adler celebrate the arrival of the Mars Science Laboratory rover, Curiosity, with a special after-hours Curiosity Landing Party! The largest and most advanced mobile laboratory ever built to study another planet, Curiosity will assess whether its landing site has ever had or still has environmental conditions favorable to supporting life and will search for clues in Martian rocks. Learn more about the rover’s mission, the challenges of reach Mars, the rover’s capabilities, and what scientists expect to find when Curiosity lands in Gale Crater in a series of hands-on activities, special presentations, and live NASA coverage of the landing.
