Contemporary Thought Speaker Series presents: Junot Díaz

Please join us for an evening with award-winning writer Junot Díaz, January 28 at 7pm in Tech’s Ryan Auditorium!

An author of fictional novels and short stories and a creative writing professor at MIT, Junot Diaz is one of the most accomplished and acclaimed writers of this decade. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his 2008 novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, which was named the best novel of the 21st century by BBC. His 2012 novel This Is How You Lose Her was a finalist for the National Book Award. Diaz was also awarded a MacArthur Genius Grant in 2012.

Admission is free and seating is first-come, first-serve! Doors open at 6:15 for those with a WildCard.

CTSS is funded by Northwestern for Northwestern students and community members, so seating priority will be given to members of the Northwestern community, so WildCards will be checked at the door until 6:50. At this time, we will open seating to the general public.
