Community Meeting about “The Gentry” in Pilsen (LIVESTREAM)

January 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Pilsen residents and local business owners will meet to address concerns over the new development referred to as “The Gentry,” at 917 W .18th Street. “The Gentry’s” owners and realtors, like many others, use Pilsen’s culture & history as a commodity and marketing tool while continuously displacing local residents & businesses.

The owners of this project, Villa Capital Properties LLC; the realtors, Nelson Hill; and 25th Ward Alderman Danny Solis were invited to attend in order to address the community’s concerns regarding this project. Alderman Solis has not shown up to other community meetings in the past; so if you have concerns about his attendance make a call or leave a voicemail at the local office number 773-523-4100; city hall can be reached at 312-744-6845

For those who cannot attend in person, Gozamos will be livestreaming this event. We will go live at the Gozamos Facebook page at 6pm and make the recording available to share and to watch after the event.

Please vist the Pilsen Alliance’s page for more information about their response to “The Gentry” development.
