The CineYouth Festival is the Chicago International Film Festival’s youth film festival, honoring the work of filmmakers under the age of 20. These young visionaries let their voices be heard at CineYouth, held each spring. Celebrating its seventh year May 5-7, 2011, CineYouth Festival screens over 100 films, holds numerous filmmaking workshops, and invites filmmakers from all ages from around the country to come together, share their work, learn from each other and be inspired.
On Thursday, May 5 the Opening Night Presentation will feature Luke Matheny and a screening of ‘God of Love’ (2011 Academy Award winning Best-Live Action Short and gold medal winner at the 2010 Student Academy Awards). Catered reception to follow.
