In planning for their Fall 2017 wedding, El La Katrina & DJ Fast$Mike wanted to donate part of their wedding funds to lift up & support the work of local Indigenous youth who have been involved in the movment to put people and planet over profits, organizing for the health of our planet and the next 7 Generations. They also wanted to bridge this with lifting up their Hip Hop Culture. They wanted to show their love for each other by showing love to their community.

BRING THE LOVE was the name gaven to El La Katrina by
Pop Master Fabel at Breakin’ The Law: International Festival of Urban Movement, a Hip Hop community gathering she & Bboy ManOfGod put on in Madison, WI for 11 years. Fabel suggested the event should be called BRING THE LOVE because of the family reunion and community collaboration vibe at the festival that brought people from 4-continents together through Hip Hop Culture.
