The past week there have been several ICE detentions in the community! One of them was even captured on video, where ICE agents (dressed in police clothes) take away a disabled man from his family.
We must act now and let ICE know that we will not sit quietly as they take away our families!
So, please join us this Sunday, April 2nd from 10am-2pm for a day of action, empowerment, and street canvassing!
We will be outside of churches, in the main avenues, and hitting the blocks giving residents “Know Your Rights” cards, a door sign to put up if ICE shows up, and a flyer with all the resources in the community!
Join us for a day of empowerment!
A defender el barrio, mi gente!
No hate. No fear. Immigrants are welcomed here!✊
