The Memory of the Senses
Songs and Journeys
“Remando,” his latest album, includes 11 new tracks that feature Saúl on all vocals and guitars. In his own words: “The songs talk of one’s own need to reflect and recover a lost consciousness and values, and form a social reconstruction.”
In April, a very special tour begins.
“The idea is to revisit my career as a songwriter. I have received many requests to explain what a song means or why I wrote this other one. So I decided to play shows from this perspective and say, ‘Look, when I wrote ‘La Celula Que Explota’ I wrote it because… and create a sort of live musical conversation. Revisiting songs from the perspective of the songwriter, something more intimate…like coming home and taking old journeys again. These venues will provide the opportunity to be closer to the audience. I am a musician who wants to share part of his life.”
