Join Renegade Art Fair December 1 + 2, 2012 from 11am-6pm each day at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse (1419 W. Blackhawk St.) for the coziest Renegade Craft Fair of them all! The Chicago Holiday Market is always an especially festive affair – We’ll have hundreds of today’s greatest indie makers along with tasty local food + booze, workshops, a photobooth, DJs + more.
As always, Renegade will be presenting a curated collection of some of today’s best + brightest indie makers in one of Chicago’s most charming venues. See the full artist line-up here! Find your favorite makers on the official map of the fair, too!
And you can make all of your handmade holiday purchases even fancier at Renegade’s own DIY Gift Wrap Station with stamp kits provided by Yellow Owl Workshop! Join the crew from The ReBuilding Exchange on the main auditorium stage where you can kick back and relax in their interactive seating area. Or if you’re feeling crafty, make a wreath using reclaimed wood sourced from their new warehouse space. Neuro Drinks and The Chicago Public Library have teamed up for a workshop where you’ll be able to create your own personalized t-shirt using their designer-illustrated print transfers. Proceeds from each shirt sale will go directly to benefit the Chicago Public Library.
Adding to the fun is a photobooth from Magnolia Photobooth Co. and some excellent shopping music courtesy of DJs from Reckless Records, Dusty Groove, and CHIRP Radio. Visitors can also expect a visual delight from Sayuri’s Jellyfish Installation, which will brighten up the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse venue.
Not to be missed are tasty treats from Black Dog Gelato, Flying Saucer, Puffs of Doom, Jackalope Coffee and MANA Food Bar, or our own special mulled wine to keep you warm + cozy!
Please take advantage of the free Trolley that will be bringing people to and from the fair! Sponsored by the SSA33 and the WPB Chamber of Commerce, the trolley will be making stops between the Renegade Craft Fair and the Unwrap Wicker Park Bucktown neighborhood event all weekend long. Attendees can catch the Trolley at various stops throughout Wicker Park and Bucktown – including Six Corners, Division & Damen, Damen & Webster, Division St. Blue Line, and more.
